Vienna, 30.05.2024 – Jehovah’s Witnesses in Austria are greatly relieved by the news that the suspected attacker who has carried out attacks on their religious community in recent months has been arrested.
Markus Kakavis, spokesman for Jehovah’s Witnesses in Austria stated: “We are grateful to know the authorities have arrested the perpetrator, who carried out attacks on our fellow believers in recent months. This news provides a measure of relief and security to all the families and congregants in our religious community. We particularly appreciated the protective measures and support from the police during this time, who took the threat very seriously.”
The religious community is pleased to be able to fully concentrate on the upcoming summer conventions with the theme “Declare the Good News!”
